Here is a story I've started. I hope everyone enjoys the first chapter.

Title: Missionary
Summary: Jeremiah is a missionary who has set his life to follow God but after returning from home after a three year long missions trip to Africa he has found himself and everyone he knows to be very different. After a he suffers through a great trail everyone must wonder if he will walk away from God and his missions forever.

Who wrote this?

  • Jan. 4th, 2010 at 3:29 PM
Does anybody know who wrote the poem behind the cut? And/or what it's titled? I can't remember if I found it in a book or online...most likely online. I just copied it down and stupidly forgot to make note of who wrote it...

Thanks in advance for any responses!!~

Happy New Year!

  • Jan. 2nd, 2010 at 9:23 PM
I just wanted to say that my New Year's resolution is to practice the spells I write.
I have always considered myself a Wiccan but my lack of actually doing spells is down
right shameful. I have always just reserved them for the Sabbaths throughout the year.
I also need to meditate more just to ground myself.

I think last year was crazy for everyone and this is probably why I feel the need to become more active in my practice. I'm just hoping that this year is better for all.

Blessed Be.

I FINISHED NEXT STOP!!!

  • Jan. 2nd, 2010 at 10:21 PM
Hey guys! I finished my journal, Next Stop, the other day. I'm surprised it took me so long, seeing as how it's very thin. I started it sometime towards the beginning of the summer. )

Seeing Things?

  • Jan. 1st, 2010 at 2:01 AM
I've often heard that children will often see and hear spirits, and that's normal but I'm almost nineteen and I'm still seeing them. Is there something wrong with me?

Usually I just try to ignore them but it's become harder lately, and they're making it hard for me to sleep at night. What can I do?

Moleskine

I truely enjoy profile and screaming profiles. They are fun to draw and I find that it is what my hand/mind does on it's own.

I didnt like this sketch when i first did it. Now it's my second favorite.
Colored pencil and pen

This is my first favorite.
Zombies... I guess?? I didn't intend for them to be zombies but Im sure thats all anyone would see. I just love drawing that face.

scans of my goals...

  • Dec. 31st, 2009 at 2:44 PM

I just recently updated my blog with scans of my visual goals in my moleskine. I'm really into making lists and art journaling to help plan for the new year... and I thought maybe some of you might enjoy reading about my process for ideas. I wrote three posts, but #2 will probably be most useful to you guys who already keep journals. Click to read - post 1, post 2, and post 3.

Do any of you make visual lists or art journals for your 2010 goals? I would really love to see if you do! <3

It was a 5 card spread to help me with the next step on my spiritual path.

The cards that are confusing me:

Honor

  • Dec. 29th, 2009 at 8:04 PM
This is going to seem like a odd question, but I'm trying to write a code of honor. That is to say a list of rules by which to live. I plan to put it in my BOS and make it a part of my tradition. I'm looking for suggestions on areas of life that the list should cover. Suggestions can be a vague or as specific as you like, either would be helpful.

Also, If you happen to have a personal list that you are willing to share or know of a list (I know George Washington had a list of rules) I would appreciate a link.

Fictional Pantheons

  • Dec. 29th, 2009 at 6:20 PM
Greetings. I am wondering how you all feel about fictional pantheons. Plenty will say "Fiction is fiction; leave it at that." Nevertheless, I believe that there is often more than meets the eye. What should a person do if he or she is drawn to a fictional deity? What could the significance of that be? I personally have felt very drawn to a fictional deity, and I was intrigued to notice that She seemed to have been based on an actual deity worshiped by an ancient culture. Can a fictional deity be worshiped, if He or She embodies very real and powerful energies?
